You can submit your manuscript via our online system here. Your manuscript should be prepared for blind review, so do not write your name(s), credentials, and affiliations on the manuscript. Also, the manuscript should be saved in Microsoft Word (*.doc or *.docx) or OpenOffice file format. All papers should have an abstract which may not exceed 300 words. It is required that authors must visit our “Author Guidelines” page and read General Information, as well as Manuscript Preparation Guide by clicking the image on the page so that the manuscripts reflect our editing and style policy. Though the JHEA does not require submitted manuscripts at this stage to be in the format which coheres completely with our style policy, it is expected that the authors show the attempt by consulting the guidelines on Author Guidelines page.
Word limit for each manuscript is 5000, excluding references.
Cover Letter
A separate cover letter must be prepared and submitted alongside the manuscript. The cover letter must indicate the title of the article, a list of names, email address of the corresponding author, credentials, and affiliations of the authors in the order of authorship. In addition, when relevant, authors must indicate the followings in the cover letter as well as in the manuscript: Conflict of Interest, Informed Consent of Patients, and IRB/responsible committee approval on human and animal research. Legal Arrangement
Please note that by submitting an article for publication here, you confirm that you are the corresponding author of the article and that the manuscript is not under consideration at another journal concurrently. Also, you acknowledge that the Journal of Clinical Bioethics may retain your email address for the purpose of communicating with you about the article. You agree to contact immediately Managing Editor of the JHEA, Dr. Peter Clark, at pclark@sju.edu if any of relevant details on the manuscript change. If your article is accepted for publication the JHEA will contact you by using the email address you have used in the submission process here. Please note that the JHEA does not hold copies of rejected articles.
